Dawn, It is funny how the soul hears what it needs to hear. My favorite sentence- When it softened to a gentle sprinkle, I stumbled back to my pew, an undercurrrent of barely audible organ chords–more heartbeat than sound—pulsed up through my feet. D
Thank you, Dave. Although my human mind is unqualified to define or describe transcendence, I'd say my body was abandoned, something took me over. It happened at the Baptis church and also on Buddhist retreat. One was in the middle of music, the other in the middle of silence.
